The PRIME series Component System kits are a new generation of factory replacement speakers that deliver authentic Rockford Fosgate sound. The R152-S is a dedicated 2-way component system that features a Mica-injected polypropylene cone for extended frequency response and direct OEM installation.
The tweeter boasts a Mylar balanced dome that reproduces crystal clear highs, along with an in-line crossover for simplified installation and multiple mounting options (flush, surface, and angle). The Mica-injected polypropylene cone with a rubber surround adds strength, rigidity, and resilience against high power output, delivering a full-bodied sound.
The 18-AWG stamped steel frame has a textured, abrasion-resistant powder-coated finish for direct OEM mounting applications and a shallow mounting depth. The 1/2-inch Mylar balanced dome tweeter combines high sensitivity and smooth extended frequency response, ensuring low distortion and an open sound stage.
The built-in tweeter crossover allows for easy connection of the full component system, with the user simply needing to jump wires from the secondary terminals on the mid-range/woofer to the tweeter terminals. This factory replacement speaker delivers authentic Rockford Fosgate sound.
